AVENCOM successfully completed the Phase II project for the deployment of an Optasense Pipeline Condition Monitoring & Surveillance system (PCMS) for the Karachaganak Petroleum Operating B.V. export pipeline. The system, also so-called Pipeline Intruder Detection, is a fibre optic based distributed acoustic sensor system, developed by QinetiQ/Optasense, UK.
