The implementation of perimeter intrusion detection (PID) and leak detection (LD) systems is in progress on one of the export pipelines.
The deployment works ongoing. The purpose of the system is to prevent third parties from tapping into the export pipeline and provision of information to the Client about potential oil theft or a tie-in that poses a threat to it.
The task of the pipeline leak detection system is to accurately determine the time, location and, if possible, the quantitative and qualitative composition of the people and vehicles involved.
